I’m Sunny Shaw and even my wedding didn’t give me a break from disaster.

After a beautiful ceremony and with Mom back in Pineville, the next stop is a romantic Christmas honeymoon. Or, so I thought.

Until catastrophe hits on day one of my new married life. 

When there’s a murder outside Mom’s house, a wedding gift goes missing, and a beautiful cat needs immediate care, my life is suddenly a tangled mess. With Mom’s neighbors and a five-year old tragedy surfacing its ugly head, suspects were everywhere. Throw in the new detective in town and, wouldn’t you know it, Mom lands at the top of the list.

Go figure… this case needs a big break and fast or my honeymoon and Christmas will both be cancelled. And me too, if I’m not careful.
